According to a 2015 survey conducted by Healthline, 60-65% of the respondents admitted to feeling stressed out during the holidays. Stress can lead to overeating, a lack of exercise, poor sleep and feelings of anxiety. With the holidays quickly approaching, why not plan ahead to beat that stress and stay healthy so you can be at your best personally and professionally, as you close out the current year and ring in the new one. Who is Reena Vokoun?
Reena graduated with a BBA in Marketing and Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MS in Advertising and Communications from Boston University. She spent several years in Corporate America working in marketing, sales and business development roles for large Fortune 500 and start-up companies such as Google, Yahoo, Reebok, GE, CNET and Grokker, while also being a certified health and wellness professional at the same time. Her experiences and witnessing others' experiences during those years showed her how much overwork, stress, a lack of work-life balance and a lack of taking care of your well-being can impact your health and life. Therefore, she's passionate about educating others and helping them take control of their lives in these areas. Today, she's the founder of her own company, Passion Fit and is an expert on consumer and corporate wellness and works with individuals, companies, non-profits, schools and universities on how to incorporate fitness, nutrition and mindfulness into their lives in order to maximize productivity, create work-life balance and lead a healthy lifestyle. She's also a mom and wife and has a holistic and unique perspective to help others balance it all.
