Smuin’s Dance Series 1 explores the legacy of Johnny Cash with James Kudelka’s The Man in Black, danced in cowboy boots. Also on the bill: Michael Smuin’s impassioned Carmina Burana and Rex Wheeler’s witty and inventive Take Five, set to music by jazz legend Dave Brubeck. This performance is 2 hours long with two 15-20 minute intermissions and is appropriate for all ages.
