    Silicon Valley Clean Energy program

Learn how your business can benefit from our community’s new energy provider, Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE). SVCE is a non-profit, public agency providing 100% carbon-free power at costs below PG&E’s comparative generation rates. Small and medium businesses in Mountain View will start receiving cleaner, greener electricity in April 2017. PG&E will still be an essential partner – continuing to deliver the electricity over their existing power lines, maintain the lines, send bills and provide customer service as they always have.

Enrollment for SVCE is automatic, so you don’t have to do a thing for your business to take advantage of SVCE’s 50% renewable, 100% carbon-free energy. If you want your business to be even greener, you can enroll in SVCE’s GreenPrime program. For a small premium, GreenPrime provides customers with 100% renewable and 100% carbon-free electricity.

To learn more, the City of Mountain View is hosting a community meeting with SVCE staff to present information on the program and answer questions. The meeting will be held at 7pm on Thursday, March 23 at City Hall Council Chambers, 500 Castro Street in Mountain View.
