On April 24^th, the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts (MCVPA) is saying “thank you” to the 350+ volunteers that contributed over 19,000 hours of service this past year. Today we are asking our fellow Mountain View business neighbors to help us say “Thank You” as well.

The Center is requesting gift coupons or vouchers (of absolutely any nature, value, discount, and/or quantity) to help recognizing volunteers. If you’re able to make a contribution of any kind, please let us know by no later than April 19th, at AudienceServices@MVCPA.com or call 650-903-6568.

The Center plays  an integral part in the Mountain View Business sector, attracting  audiences to 400 events a year at our 600 seat MainStage and 200 Seat SecondStage. These same Center attendees patronize stores and restaurants in the city (before and after event), contributing significantly to the City’s overall economic success.

Our large, dedicated volunteer core is essential in allowing us to drive this attendance by saving clients the expense of staffing the many Front of House positons required for any event. These volunteers welcome patrons, provide them with directions, scan their tickets and assist them to their seats. They simultaneously provide safety and smiles day after day, night after night and year after year. Thank you in advance for helping reward this special and invaluable group of people.
