    Notice of June 11, 2019 Mountain View Council Meeting on Oversized Vehicle Ordinance and Safe Parking Program Parameters
     
    The City of Mountain View will be discussing a proposed citywide Oversized Vehicle Parking Prohibition Ordinance; the parameters for a Safe Parking  Ordinance; and a resolution to operate a Safe Parking Program on two city-controlled lots at the Tuesday, June 11 Council Meeting. The proposed ordinance, resolution and Safe Parking parameters will be available for public review as part of the City Council Agenda packet on Friday, June 7 on the City website at MountainView.gov.  ( https://www.mountainview.gov/council/agendas/current_council_agendas.asp )
     
    Safe Parking Program: The agenda item will consist of asking Council for direction on the parameters for a new Safe Parking Ordinance. Council will also provide direction and consider adoption of a resolution for the operation of Safe Parking  on City-controlled properties and authorize the City Manager to execute contracts consistent with the approved action.
     
    Oversized Vehicle Ordinance: Council will consider the introduction of an ordinance to prohibit the parking of Oversized Vehicles citywide and adoption of a resolution for oversized parking permit fees.
     
    The meeting will take place in the Council Chambers of  Mountain View City Hall (500 Castro St., 2nd Floor) on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the regular meeting to start at 6:30 p.m. (or as soon as possible) under Unfinished Business.
