Santa Clara, CATo celebrate the opening of its new Sandler Training center in Santa Clara, the Silicon Valley Sales Group (SVSG) today announced a $100,000 scholarship program with four local Chambers of Commerce.  SVSG will award five $20,000 Sandler Training scholarships.  One scholarship will go to one member of each of four local Chambers of Commerce:  The silicon valley organization and the Santa Clara, Sunnyvale Silicon Valley, and Mountain View Chambers of Commerce.  A fifth winner will be selected from the overall pool of candidates.   Candidates can apply online at: http://www.svsg.sandler.com/cocsholarship.  The deadline for applications is August 15th, 2017.
Sandler’s training methodologies are repeatedly proven through the delivery of over 475,000 training hours per year to thousands of clients at more than 270 training centers around the world.
“Many smart professionals struggle running their businesses – financial advisors, accountants, lawyers, insurance agents, architects, engineers – because they are uncomfortable selling themselves and their services,” said Tina Babbi, president and CEO of Silicon Valley Sales Group. “We often hear, ‘My worst nightmare is sales. I hate it. It’s hard and it makes me feel really uncomfortable,’” continued Babbi. “We teach these business owners guiding principles and techniques that focus on asking questions not pushing product, talking less, educating more, and knowing when to walk away. They gain confidence, they engage with clients more naturally, and they follow a proven sales process. All of which lead to better bottom line results and a completely changed attitude toward sales.”
Each scholarship includes membership in Sandler’s flagship Sales Mastery course, which represents over 100 hours of live training and coaching, access to specialized workshops on targeted skills, plus unlimited access to thousands of hours of audio and video training available through the Sandler Online learning portal. Applications will be accepted through August 15; the weekly Sales Mastery Course will begin on September 11.
“As a financial professional at MassMutual Financial Group, Sandler Training has helped my career immensely,” said Chris Horton, President and CEO of the Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce. “Which is why I am so happy that we as a Chamber can make this training available to our members. For those who embrace the Sandler system, I truly believe it will have a tremendous impact both personally and professionally.”
