The Chamber of Commerce Mountain View has been serving business interests since 1922. During our 90+ year history, we have gone through a number of visual and name branding changes. Here are some early logos which both depicted the mountains.
The logo below represents the last brand and name change from the early 90’s.
This brand depicts a circuit board which speaks to the Chamber’s strategic location in the Silicon Valley, and the high-tech industry that is the economic engine of the area. In honor of the history and the continued technology hotbed of companies from Google, Linkedin, Microsoft, Intuit and to the future technology innovators being incubated out of 500 Startups and Y Combinator, we want to continue that inspiration.
Today, we are one of the core reasons people want to live, work and visit Mountain View. Surrounded by the beauty of hills and mountains, these views are where the city name has its roots. Chambers around the world represent the city they are in, and to reconnect ourselves, we are reverting to our legal name, “Mountain View Chamber of Commerce.”
Our goal is to build a branding platform that will unify the many well known programs such as the annual Art & Wine festival, our single largest fundraiser, and the elegant Celebration of Leaders to name a few. These are the initial brand components. We will update you as we continue to roll out more.
Today we would like to introduce to the new Brand platform for the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce.
Look for more announcements in the coming months.
